This review is from: Bessey KRK1224 K Body REVO Fixed Jaw Parallel Clamp Kit, Includes: 2-12-inch, 2-24-inch K Body Clamps and 1 set of KP Blocks (Tools & Home Improvement) There was a time when the Bessey K Body was the best parallel clamp out there. Then others (Jet in particular), created a better clamp with bigger faces, more user friendly features, etc. Bessey has responded with the K Body Revo, which seems to put it back on top of the parallel clamp world. The faces are bigger and have removable caps that allow easy removal of glue. They now include clips that attach to the rail and separate the work from the clamp rails, helping to reduce glue getting on the rail. The tail piece helps hold the clamps upright while setting up your clamps. And the KP blocks are surprisingly useful for clamping rectangular assemblies. All in all, these are fantastic clamps. This review is from: Bessey KRK1224 K Body REVO Fixed Jaw Parallel Clamp Kit, Includes: 2-12-inch, 2-24-inch K Body Clamps and 1 set of KP Blocks (Tools & Home Improvement) Overall great clamps An "improved" Bessey K-body I like the new features, but some of the new parts are not as durable. The black plastic end clips and middle lifting clips are breakable. The clamp heads can be damaged more easily if dropped (the edge of the faces can break, where the new replaceable faces slide onto the heads). They still work well, just as the old K-bodies did. glues cleans up easily on the black faces. Clamp pressure is still strong (unchanged from the old version) And you can use all of the old K-body assessories.
